31. My wife is in love with a woman. I’m convinced she’s just bi and not fully a lesbian, but her heart and body is with the OW right now. She kept her affair a secret for a year when I found out by chance. I think she has feelings for me and our five-year-old son. So I instinctively opened up communication between us and felt closer to her than ever before. But she won’t let me show any affection with her, saying she loves her girlfriend and wants to see her as soon as she can.

Right now I’m getting the impression it’s turning into a weird yo-yo affair where she sees me for a lot of things that she needs and her for love and sex. I admit I dropped the ball when it came to loving her after our son was born, which is partly why things are like this. I get the impression that she realises her affair will likely fail and is toying with my feelings to keep me as a back-up option. We’ve been married for eight years and I’m not sure what I should do.
